Muhammed Yesilhark is all set to join SAC Capital Advisors, the Stamford-based hedge fund, while moving from York Capital where he worked as a fund manager and a director. He will be rendering his services as a portfolio manager in London.
Muhammed Yesilhark will be joining Drew Lubin, chief executive officer of SAC’s London office, who already moved in January. Fund manager Michael Corcell and analyst Gabe Marshank moved last year to join RWC Partners.
Drum Capital Management, an self-governing investment management firm located in Stratford that is dedicated to distressed and turnaround investments, has roped in Peter Notz as vice president, manager of investment diligence. He will be based in Stamford.
Earlier, Notz was serving as a senior associate at HRJ Capital, and prior to that, as an executive at Red Eagle Ventures. Notz has secured a master’s in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, along with a bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Naval Academy.
He kick-started his career as a U.S. Navy officer, where he got promoted as the training officer and further advanced to his role as a department head while leading a squadron in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Besides, Christopher Mayhew has also joined Drum Capital for the role of distressed investment analyst and will be taking care for monitoring fund investments, portfolio company valuations and investment diligence for Drum’s distressed and turnaround fund of funds. He will be reporting directly to Notz.
Mayhew has also joined Drum Capital from Camden Partners Holding LLC, where he worked as private equity analyst. He secured a bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.
On the other side, Greenwich-based Associated Community Bancorp Inc. and its Connecticut Community Bank N.A. subsidiary have also released an official statement regarding several senior management changes.
William Laudano Jr., president of Associated Community and chief financial officer of Associated Community and the bank, will take on the role of vice chairman and chief executive officer of the bank and relieved from his chief financial officer roles. He worked in several job roles with Associated Community and the bank since 2001.
Richard Cummings Jr. will keep on serving on his role as the president of the bank, along with the chief lending officer. He has also rendered his services in various aptitudes since 1998, including president of Westport National Bank.
Roberta Murphy, senior vice president and chief operations officer of the bank, will take on the chief financial officer role at Associated Community and the bank and got relieved with her role as chief operations officer. She earlier worked on different job roles since 1999, including as chief financial officer of Westport National Bank.
